Photo Library Information for Clients

Nearly all the images in the photo library are from digital media and file size is 4000 pixels or slightly greater along the longest axis of the images (roughly equating to an 11 megapixel digital image).

In cases where images are scanned from slides, the file name indicates ’scan***’ at the end of the caption information. In these cases, I usually provide the actual transparency.

Digital files can be supplied as 16 bit tiffs or jpg’s, depending on your preference.

Also, I do market images through several photo libraries – these agencies are probably going to be faster to respond to requests and may be more convenient in many cases.  This would certainly be my recommendation as I am often out in the field and may take some time to get to emails. Agencies are as follows:

PhotoResearchers in New York, USA

ANT Photo Library in Melbourne, Australia

Naturimages en France
